A universe collapsed, in abstract, in fact.
Everything you know, thrown out of whack.
Stay back,
Back away,
For within me, this scene is played.
Played out,
As I wander about, seemingly ok,
And all the while, these feelings stay…
Within me,
Day to day,
And night after night…
In the chaos, I pray and fight.
For all I know, this is me,
And I cannot be,
What I wanted to be.
But I go on hoping one day,
That I can set myself free,
From the expectations of all,
And just let me, be me.
